Hi, I’m Kris Moriarty.
I remember exactly what it felt like to be a young mom with three kids in three different activities — snack mom one week, a PTO meeting I couldn't miss, a bake sale I'd somehow agreed to bring something to, a diorama due, homework to check, groceries to get, dinner to make, a pile of returns sitting by the door.
None of it was hard on its own. But it was never just one thing. It was all of it, all the time — and I didn't have a single quiet minute where I wasn't tracking something in the back of my mind.
What I eventually realized is that the exhausting part was never really the doing. It was the remembering, the noticing, the monitoring — the invisible work that never makes it onto a to-do list, but never stops running in the background either.
And I noticed something else too: most advice about this assumes there's someone else in the house who could pick some of it up, if only you asked the right way. But that's not everyone's reality. Sometimes there isn't a person to hand it to. Sometimes you've asked, and it hasn't changed. That doesn't mean you're stuck carrying all of it forever — it means the answer has to come from somewhere other than just "share it better."
That's what One Less Thing is built around. Not doing more. Not being more organized. Just figuring out, honestly, what actually has to stay yours — and what doesn't.
If your week looked like mine did, you're not doing anything wrong. You're just carrying more than anyone else can see. This is for you.
Why Families Trust Me
Inviting someone into your home is personal.
My goal isn't simply to complete a list of tasks. It's to become someone you can count on—someone who understands your routines, respects your home, communicates clearly, and quietly makes life easier.
Whether I'm organizing a pantry, coordinating appointments, or preparing for guests, I approach every household with the same care I'd want for my own family.
Thoughtful, Not Transactional
I take time to understand how your household works so I can anticipate needs instead of simply reacting to requests.
Peace of Mind
When choosing someone to support your household, trust matters.

Your home, your routines, and your privacy matter. I believe trust is earned through reliability, discretion, and consistent communication.
A Different Kind of Experience
Before starting One Less Thing Concierge, I spent my career helping organizations create thoughtful, seamless customer experiences. I learned that the best service isn't just about solving problems—it's about anticipating needs, communicating clearly, and making people feel genuinely cared for.
Today, I bring that same mindset into every home I support.
